Sedation during the examination
Endoscopic examinations at our clinic can be performed under sedation to make the procedure more peaceful, comfortable, and stress-free for the patient. During sedation, medication is administered intravenously; the patient falls into a light, controlled sleep, while breathing, pulse, and overall well-being are monitored throughout the entire examination. After the procedure, the patient rests for a while under the supervision of medical staff, and they are not allowed to drive a car on the same day following sedation.
