Health starts in the gut! Dr. Vilkoite’s Digestive Health Clinic Opens Its Doors
On June 2 of this year, Dr. Vilkoite’s Digestive Health Clinic will open its doors—a specialized gastroenterology clinic dedicated entirely to the health of the digestive system: the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gut microbiome. The clinic’s team will help find answers in cases where symptoms are unclear, painful, or persistent, providing accurate diagnostics, modern treatment, and a professional, compassionate approach.
“When founding the Abdominal Clinic, one of my main goals was to bring together the best doctors and healthcare specialists from various fields to provide a complete diagnostic and treatment cycle in one place. At our clinic, you will receive accurate diagnostics and the treatment tailored to your individual needs, based on the latest international guidelines and research, using the most modern technologies,” emphasizes the clinic’s founder and director, gastroenterologist Ilona Vilkoite.
The new private clinic will offer consultations with various specialists—gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, proctologists, family doctors, nutritionists, and others.
The clinic specializes in video endoscopies of the upper, lower, and small intestines. It also offers abdominal, thyroid, and tissue ultrasounds, as well as various functional examinations and tests.
“We believe that medicine should be safe, understandable, and humane. That is why we have created a calm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and in safe hands. Our goal is not just to treat symptoms—we help people regain their quality of life, peace of mind, and long-term health,” says Vilkoite.
The clinic is located in the center of Riga, in the V118 office building (118 Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street), with convenient access by both public and private transportation. For the convenience of clients, free parking is available at the clinic. Dr. Vilkoite’s Abdominal Clinic provides an accessible environment for all patients and visitors.
